Information we process

When you create an account, our authentication provider processes your email address, encrypted password credentials, verification status, and basic security logs. VersePath stores a display name, your saved verse references, likes, comments, reports, and the dates associated with those actions. Your email address is never displayed next to a public comment.

Public information includes your chosen display name, published comments, and aggregate community activity. Saved verses are private to your account. Reports are visible only to the reporting user and authorized moderation operations.

How information is used

We use account data to authenticate you, restore your saved library, prevent duplicate likes, attribute comments, investigate reports, secure the service, and understand whether the product is useful. We do not sell personal information. If analytics or advertising is added, this policy and consent controls must be updated before those tools are enabled.

You may request account deletion and removal of associated saves, likes, comments, and reports. Production contact details, data-retention periods, legal entity information, and jurisdiction-specific rights must be added before public registration opens. Supabase provides authentication and database infrastructure, while Cloudflare delivers the website.

Frequently asked questions

Is my email public?
